A Tribute to My Mom
She is wise and beautiful.
She is my best friend.
Even when I’d done wrong,
She stood by till the end.
Her heart is warm and loving,
Yet her outer shell is strong.
Her family is her main priority,
She’ll let no one do us wrong.
She’ll rage like a river,
Then want to reconcile.
I realize now that I am just like her,
I have been all the while.
I love my mom so dear.
Even though we’re far apart,
I feel her heart so near.
My mother had no role models;
She had a rough early life.
But she does a great job being a mother,
She is even a great wife.
