Obituary of William Edward Cobler

Bill was born November 28, 1929 in Cunningham, Kansas to Aaron W. and Ruth (Wortman) Cobler. After he completed school in Ponca City, OK he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. Bill joined Big Toys in 1971, retired to WayStation Ranch in Rainier, WA, raising Arabian horses until 1997, when they sold the ranch and moved to Lacey, WA. Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betsy; son, Clay Cobler of Seligman, AZ; daughter, Deidra Cobler of the home; granddaughter, Alicia J. (Daniel) Palermo and great-granddaughter, Elena, of Milton, WA, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins, too numerous to mention, all over the country. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bill's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or the charity of your choice.
