Obituary of Loretta Lee Wilson

Albert Einstein said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle.” Loretta Wilson lived her life as though everything was a miracle. She was born Loretta Lee Beerbower on February 5, 1948 in Longview, WA. She was the second child of Harold and Theresa and the sister of Riley and Audrey. She was married to Tom Jeffries for 12 years. They had two children Stacey and Jerad. After divorcing in 1981, Loretta remarried James Wilson in 1984. When they combined families, Loretta considered Jim’s two children, John and Sue, to be her own. This September would have been their 34th anniversary. In her exuberant life she enjoyed numerous crafts including sewing and doll making She also loved collecting Vermont bears, cabbage patch kids, and Boyds bears. Together they donated to the NRA and Lupus foundation. Loretta was proceeded by her father, Harold Beerbower and daughter, Sue Crites. She is survived by her mother, Theresa Beerbower, brother Riley and Linda Beerbower, sister Audrey (and Larry Harkins), husband James Wilson and their two cats Peggy Sue and Fred, son John Wilson, son Stacey (and Stephanie Jeffries), son Jerad Jeffries, and six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A service for Loretta will be held at Shelton United Methodist Church (1900 King St. Shelton, WA 98584) May 3, 2018 at 11 o’clock. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America at 1207 N 200th St. Ste 214, Shoreline, WA 98133.
