Obituary of William Robert Jackson

William “Bill” Robert Jackson, a long time resident of Shelton, passed away at his home on July 2, 2019. Bill was born in Seattle, WA on April 26, 1951 and was loved by his parents Wilford T. and Irene A. Jackson. Bill graduated from Shelton High School where he played multiple sports and was lucky enough to drive a 1961 Chevy Impala to school which his dad gave him. After high school he went on to college at Western Washington University in Bellingham but left before graduating. He pursued a career in sales, which included automotive parts and batteries. Bill loved music he always had his guitar sitting by his chair. When he was in school he even played in a band. He still loved picking up his guitar and playing even up till his death. He loved watching every kind of sports his favorites were football, baseball and car racing. He is survived by his long time girlfriend, Olivia Brink, his sister, Linda Sorenson, along with many nieces, nephews including great and great- great nieces and nephews’. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
