Dear Marie and family,
I am so very, very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He will be missed by so many. My fondest memories of Jim and Marie was their attendance at all of our Foster High Class Reunions. Even though Jim didn't attend Foster he fit right in with his friendliness and his wonderful smile. You will be forever remembered, Jim. Have you ever met a great man. Well, if you met Jim you have. I was part of Jim and Marie's wedding. I now had a brother in-law. But in the 60 + years past he was a real brother in all ways.
Jim's son Chris was born with special needs which many others might have ran from the responsibilities, not Jim he did everything possible for him and his family. That was HUGE.
He was a family man, helper to those needing it, a friend to all he met, kind hearted and even mannered.
I never saw him angry, always eager to help others or fix something that had broken. He was people person, he never met one he didn't like. (Well maybe one)
There are few men that could have done as well, I was lucky to have known him and will never forget him.
He will live forever in my thoughts!

3 years ago on our vacation to Washington, I met Uncle Jim and Aunt Marie. Lori and I slept in our tent next to the water at their house. Uncle Jim made me feel very welcome and showed me around the property. Aunt Marie treated us to her wonderful lasagna. I rowed their boat to the pier and back with Hunter. What a great visit, will miss you. R.I.P. Uncle Jim.

I remember a lot of times with my uncle jim, pulling crab pots up at the canal,shucking oysters, having those silly crab races, he was one of the kindest uncle to have.

Though I only mostly just knew of him through my mom and dad,I never heard anything but wonderful, wonderful things about this man. My dad still speaks of him and their place and his devotion to his family. Bless his family during this difficult time.

When we would go to visit, I always sat next to my Uncle Jim. If there was something on my plate I did not like, he would always eat it for me.
