Obituary of Nancy Kathleen Gosser

Nancy Kathleen Gosser passed away peacefully September 6, 2019 in Olympia, WA due to health complications. Nancy was born November 4, 1941 to Chester and Kathleen Bryan in Vancouver, WA. Nancy was a homemaker and part time florist in her younger years working in a variety of floral shops. She never lost her touch with flowers as she made bouquets, boutonnieres and all sorts of flower arrangements for her children’s and grandchildren’s weddings and for many other family friends. Nancy was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed making new friends. Nancy had a love for a variety of arts, crafts, canning and making jams and jellies. She shared her knowledge and love for life with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy’s most recent hobby was ceramics. She had entered numerous pieces of work into local county fairs and had won several first place ribbons. She recently became a certified ceramic instructor, hoping to teach classes at local shops. Nancy had a heart of gold when it came to family, and many non-family members looked to her as a mom and grandmother. She loved having family barbeques, the outdoors, going on camping trips, fishing, and hunting with her sons and loved to travel with her family. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gosser (1991), a great grandson Kaiden Elisalda (2016), son Wes Rhodes (2016) and most recently her partner, Jim Davidson, of over 20 years. Nancy is survived by her brother Mike Bryan (Pam), sister Florence King (Robert), daughter Kim Elisalda (Russ), daughter-in-law Cindy Rhodes, son Brian Rhodes (Renee), daughter Valerie Avery (Lance Daub), daughter LaDonna Putman, daughter Christine Avery, 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held October 6, 2019 at 1:00, Littlerock Posse Hall at 5949 Maytown Rd SW Olympia, WA 98512.
