Obituary of Barbara F. Shelton

Barbara Hazel (nee Forsyth, formerly Watson) Shelton passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Fir Lane Health and Rehabilitation in Shelton, Washington under hospice care.  Barbara was born December 4, 1949 in South Bend, Washington to Arthur and Shirley Forsyth, longtime residents of Chehalis, WA. and members of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. She leaves behind her loving daughter Meredith Watson, who has been her rock these last difficult years. Barbara loved animals, especially her kitties Cagney and Lacey. Her favorite comfort food was chocolate and she was famous for her Christmas fudge. She is survived by her daughter, Meredith Watson of Olympia, WA; her father, Arthur Forsyth of University Place, WA; her sister, Deborah Valadez of University Place, WA; and brothers, Norman Forsyth of Centralia, WA; Douglas Forsyth of San Jose, CA; and Richard Forsyth of Fountain Hills, AZ. She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley in 2006.
