Obituary of Kui Lee Tahkeal

Kui Lee Tadios Tahkeal Sr. Kui Lee Tadios Tahkeal, of Squaxin Island Washington, died unexpectedly on October 27th, 2021 at the age of 43. Kui was born on July 8th, 1978, to Fawn Tadios (Squaxin Island) and Russell Tahkeal (Yakama). He was raised by his grandmother and mother in Wapato and Taholah Washington. Kui graduated from Taholah Highschool where he was a star athlete. He was a skilled football player, baseball player, boxer, surfer, and an MVP in basketball. Later in life he picked up skateboarding and snowboarding, just to add to his repertoire. His love for the outdoor sports took him to the lake where he would ride his seadoos, and to the mountains where he would fly down the slopes. On May 25th, 2017 Kui married Julie Renee Hall, together they brought Kaleonahe into this world, they combined their families and raised 7 beautiful children. Kui was a family man, with countless friends (bros). Everything he did was for the ones he loved. If you were in need, he would be there; if you needed a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, he was there to make you smile. His heart was pure gold. Kui Lee Tahkeal Sr. is survived by his wife, Julie Tahkeal, his children, Ronald Lee Russell Tadios Tahkeal, Clara Sanchez, Kui Lee Tahkeal Jr, Terry Nakai Tahkeal, Alivia Sanchez, Takoda Noelani Tahkeal, and Kaleonahe Kui Lee Tadios-Tahkeal, grandson Ronald Lee Russell Tadios Tahkeal Jr, his mother Fawn Tadios, Grandmother Carol Tadios, Step father Raymond Parker, sisters KaChina Ralston, Krystal Tahkeal, Crystal Canpoo-Tahkeal, brother Francisco Mora, Sister Racheal Mendez (Manuel Mendez), brother in-law Anthony Russette, his Aunties; Violet Simmons, Lucille Quilt, Laureen Rosander, Julie Rosander (Pat McCrory) numerous Uncles, Linda Tahkeal and Bonnie Tahkeal and numerous Nieces. Yakama Community, Quinault community, Squaxin Island Community, Tulalip Community; and we apologize to anyone we may have forgotten. Funeral Services and burial will be held in Squaxin Island Washington, Sacred Grounds, Wednesday November 3rd, 2021 at Noon and a meal to follow.
