Obituary of Yarmila Yonnia Klimkova

Yarmila Yonnia Klimkova, 62, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2021 in Shelton, Washington. She was born March 24, 1959 to Frank and Barbara Klimek in Seattle. She graduated from Kentridge Senior High in Kent, Washington and briefly attended Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio. Yarmila had a beautiful operatic voice, winning several competitions and traveling to study and sing in places like Austria, Italy and New York. She worked for Casey Family Programs as an Administrative Assistant, the game company, Wizards of the Coast as their Travel Manager, and several temporary positions with the State of Washington. She loved Arts & Crafts, creating her signature "Power Pillows" that blended numerology and astrology to create personalized pillows. And she loved frogs. She had quite a collection of frog ornaments, pillows, and any other frog paraphernalia she or others could find. Friends and family remember her as loving, giving goofball, and with her silly voices and slapstick style of humor, could make everyone laugh. Yarmila is survived by her brothers, David and Jeffrey Klimek, sisters, Madelynn Klimkova and Vanessa Schuler, as well as, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Dougherty. "If you wish to make a donation, you can do so to IntraHealth.org, an animal rescue of choice or The Diabetes Association."
