Obituary of Hughdon Rhoden

Hughdon Junior Rhoden died on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Devoted to his family, he was married to Sharon Rhoden for 60 years and is survived by his five children: Destiny Frahm, Christine Spence, Suzanne Graham, Katherine Leipold, and Arthur Rhoden. He was a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. Don raised his children in McCleary, WA, and he served honorably in the United States Army; he was deployed to Germany and South Korea. He was honorably discharged October 27, 1964. Don retired from his work as a mason for Stebbins Engineering. Don was an enormous presence in the lives of all of his friends and family. He was willing and ready to help anyone at any time and had tremendous energy in all of the things that he did. He worked his whole life to give his family a better life. He believed and died with the sincere hope that he would be reunited with all of his loved ones in a future paradise on Earth and loved the words of Revelation 21:4, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.”
