Mrs Tyas was my grade 6 teacher at Dalat. She was by far the best teacher I've had. She made her students feel confident and smarter. I wish she could teach my son.

Miss Gayle Callanan served as the Christian Education director at Mountain View Alliance Church, Shelton, WA, when I came to candidate for the position of assistant pastor in January 1977. After accepting their call, Gayle and I worked together in Sunday School classes, youth group meetings, and a mid-week Bible study for adults and youth at the home of Richard and Glenda Carle on Crestview Drive. Gayle also led the church choir at that time. I grew to appreciate and love this wonderful woman of God!!! We married June 20, 1981, and spent 33+ years, serving Jesus together.
