Obituary of Ervin La Plante

Ervin Michael LaPlante was born in 1943. He was a life long resident of Shelton. He graduated in 1961 at Shelton High School then went into the Coast Guard for about 3.5 years. His mother was Jean Legard and his dad was Bud LaPlante. He leaves behind a daughter, Correna LaPlante Secena and her husband Ray Secena, and grandchildren, Bobby Young and Nicole Young. He was a loving, caring gentleman. He treated everyone with respect. All of the kids who came into my dad’s life were like his own: Terry, Frank, Tommy Sherrill, Eric Lindstedt, Joslyn. He loved to hunt, trap, fish and go mushroom picking. He would go out of his way for everyone: friends, family or even a stranger. He loved the hound club. His final time was spent with his girlfriend, Ginger Nosky. I do appreciate everything she did for my dad. They have had 10 years plus. I love you Dad and Ginger. May you be with all your family and dogs in heaven. Love your daughter, Correna
