Jimmy will be greatly missed in our neighborhood! He always had a ready smile for everyone and always looked so happy. It was obvious to anyone who spent more than a second around him, how much he adored his family. You could just see it in his eyes and the way his face would light up around them.
I have a few favorite memories of Jimmy that I would like to share. The first is when he was out in the front of his house weed eating. We look out of our window and were like, "What the heck is Jimmy wearing?" We finally figured out he was wearing sunglasses with Daisies on them. Guess he couldn't find his safety goggles and improvised. Such a resourceful fellow!
Another favorite that comes to mind is when I was out in my driveway and Jimmy was getting ready to drive away and Michelle was in their yard. I heard him yell to her, "I love you!" I said, "Was he talking to me?" We all laughed and then he stopped in front of my house and said, "I love you, Joy!"
The final one I want to share is my last memory of him. I got home from running errands and he was in the road teaching Charlie how to ride her bike with no training wheels. She picked it up right away and sped off down the road. He had the most precious look on his face- he was just beaming! That's how I want to remember Jimmy; With the look of nothing but love on his face. You will be so missed around here!
Love,
Joy, Jeremy, Brayden, and Abram Ordonez
