I've been searching for Herald Composing Room friends. Took over a year to find you, Chuck, but too late -- you've passed away. Been thinking about you; how you laughed and sang while making up pages, always a smile on your face (except the time that someone inked the handle on the proof press and you were covered in ink), stories you shared of you and your uncle, and seeing the emotions sweep your face when I showed you the photo of your dad's name I found in the log book at the French Allied Cemetery. You helped make the day go by. I miss you. Wishing I had found you earlier and we could have talked of old Herald days and times since then. Rest in peace, Chuck. - John Hinchcliffe
