I was so sad to see Brett's obituary notice in the Kitsap Sun today. I will remember his warm smile and gentle manner as a TEAM father and volunteer. He particularly loved sharing his love of being a firefighter with all of our students. I also remember visiting at the hospital, initially fearful Brett would not remember who I was...He had immediate recognition and we chatted as he was protected by his buddies and Melissa. Kyle and Mathew, I'm so sorry for your loss.
