Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Clark

Joan Elizabeth (Spencer) Clark, 77, of Shelton, Washington, passed away on September 29, 2015, surrounded by her children and family. She will be interned with her loving husband, David, at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Washington. Joan was born in San Jose, California, on April 26, 1938. She was a domestic engineer, Licensed Practical Nurse, and caregiver for her mother and husband. She was a wise, thoughtful, and loving woman and loved by all! Joan was married to David L. Clark on September 14, 1956. They were married just shy of 50 years. David preceded her in death on May 5, 2006. Joan retired from Alpine Way Continuing Care in Shelton, Washington in 2005, after 14 years of service. Joan is survived by her three children, Robert Clark and his wife Geanne, Gail Reed and her husband Rick, and Karen Miller and her husband Greg; her five grandchildren, Kenny Reed, Eric Clark, Mitchell Duck, Jeremy Duck, and Becky Guilford; her 5 great-grandchildren Zander, Mykala, Emily, Jade and Jacob; and the rest of her relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her over the last 14 months.
